Example: 36- 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, 36

*You will need to be able to find the GCF and LCM of pairs of numbers.
Example: 12 and 24
 Factors of 12: 1,2,3,4,6,12
Factors of 24: 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24
GCF: 12

Multiples of 12: 12,24,36,48.60
Multiples of 24: 24, 48, 72
LCM: 24

*You will need to be able to find the prime factorization of a number by making a factor tree.

*You will need to be able to solve “real world” problems by using factors and/or multiples.

Examples: Problem 2.1- Ferris wheel, Problem 2.2- Cicada cycles, Problem 2.3- Bagging snacks

Factors= fewer, divide, split, share

Multiples= many, revolutions, cycle, multiply, rotation

You will need to explain your work, using the RACE strategy.
