factors of numbers.

*You will need to be able to find the GCF and
LCM of pairs of numbers.
Example:
12 and 24
Factors of 12: 1,2,3,4,6,12
Factors of 24: 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24
GCF: 12
Multiples of 12: 12,24,36,48.60
Multiples of 24: 24, 48, 72
LCM: 24
*You will need to be able to find the prime
factorization of a number by making a factor tree.
*You will need to be able to solve “real world”
problems by using factors and/or multiples.
Examples: Problem 2.1- Ferris wheel, Problem
2.2- Cicada cycles, Problem 2.3- Bagging snacks
Factors= fewer, divide, split, share
